Let's define dreams.
As far as most scientists know, they predict dreams are the puzzling together of reality and life. Wrong. I have proven this wrong myself.
They are a spectrum of connected links of frequencies expelled by the brain in various patterns. Every time you think or make an action even subconciously, it produces one of these kinetic wavelengths.
Whilst we are sleeping, our brain is the most active. It's the most active time of day for the brain. Generally, you sleep for a minimum of 2 hours before waking up to use the washroom or so. Within 2 hours some may feel the following :
-The dream feels like it lasts for days
- The dream feels like it lasts for a few seconds
- I didn't dream (after awake)
- I don't remember the dream (after awake)
Not everyone can identify their dreams after they wake up. When you can, it means you have had a sufficient amount of REM.
The dreams that feel as if they last a long time are healthy dreams. Now to get into precise details, you may have a dream consisting of a 'nightmare' as we define it. As said above, dreams are kinetic energy. Kinetic energy is not only passed out from the brain, but the brain can accept other peoples kinetic signals into theirs. While sleeping, any signal that passes through your brain is read immediately but subconciously. (Hence sometimes you will think of something and the person beside you says the same thing you thought of but you did not enclose any information to them). When this signal is being read, it is also being transferred into your 'minds eye'. When we see things in our sleep, we do not use our eyes to see these at all. We use the electronic signal inside the brain to construct a signal. Now you may ask, why do we use our eyes when sleeping aka REM? Well, those eye functions are similar to sleep walking. They are done automatically.
Now how does this relate to nightmares? The possiblities are:
- interpreting future actions
- possible kinetic confusion between two people
- entirely random act
Most of all, it is near impossible to judge what each dream means. However, it is suggested to write down your dream once your awake.
When you are awake though, think hard and interpret how realistic was this dream? Was it clouded in a dark atmosphere? Were you able to feel pain, sadness etc? All of those combine to create a determinable pattern of disrupted sleep BY other peoples brain activity. Usually you will never dream of the EXACT same thing twice. You may be in the same setting, and even some of the same actions, but not the exact one. It generally takes months to re-dream the same dreams.
In turn, what this all means is that if someone else's life (a neighbour perhaps) had experienced a tragedy, when they sleep, those kinetic signals may enter your brain and you may dream of that person performing some kind of related actions.
