Ok I am really confused about this dream I had. Well hear goes...

I had a dream that I was in love with Ruby Rose (A lesbian celebrity in Australia) And in the dream, I never got the chance to be with her. Instead, I got asked out by a random male, and I was really dissapointed.

Do you think this dream means that my subconscious is telling me I am gay? And do gay people often have homosexual dreams?

Thank you

Dreams are not an accurate source of information of who your are. Often dreams are based on what you had been thinking of before you went to sleep but seeing as you have hundreds of dreams before you actually wake up, the one that you remember may not be the one related to what you were thinking of. Many people who have nightmares receive dreams of people trying to kill them or aliens abducting them but this doesn't imply that these people are paranoid or afraid of something or someone out to kill them. Dreams are very obscure and psychologists who try to use these to describe you are usually not very professional. Rather psychologists who use these dreams to figure out others things going on in your life that can cause strange dreams is more common however still abnormal dreams are actually common. You're not gay unless you actually have a physical desire for someone of your same sex. If you can't look at someone of your gender as think, "damn I want them" then you are not gay.

Homosexual

If you are not homosexual in your waking life and dream that you are homosexual represents a union with aspects of yourself. It is symbolic of self-love, self-acceptance, and compassion. If you are uncomfortable with homosexuality in your dream, then it suggests some fears or anxieties about your masculinity (if you are male) and femininity (if you are female). You may be experiencing some insecurity in your relations with the opposite sex.

If you are homosexual in your waking life, then the dream is simply a reflection of your own self.'

I always out in the dreammoods.com blurb for the people who don't like my interpretations.

In all honesty, gay dreams don't usually mean anything. If you're in awe of this Ruby Rose all the time, it probably means you'd like to get to know her, but unfortunately the security keeps getting in the way. ;3

Don't worry that you're gay. When you dream of losing teeth, are you suddenly worried your front canines' are just gonna randomly fly out of your mouth? Of course not. The dream just means you like her mutually as a person, but there boundaries in the way of getting to know her. One being she's a celebrity.

I highly doubt it means you're gay; most likely, you might subconsciously want to experiment a little more but having affection towards another woman does NOT mean you're gay. You may just find her attractive and envy her a little.

If you are not a lesbian in your waking life, but dream that you are a lesbian, then it signifies a union with aspects of yourself. It is symbolic of self-love, self-acceptance, and passion. You are comfortable with your sexuality and femininity

Its just a dream. Its does NOT mean you are gay. Dreams are weird like that.
