I don't believe that concepts have fixed meanings from one dreamer to the next. I believe it's dependent on the dreamer himself/herself. That is to say, concepts in dreams represent feelings you have. To interpret the concept, you must ask yourself what feelings those concepts evoke in you, and then figure out what, in real life, gives you that same feeling. THAT'S what the concept represents.

In your example, you dream about breaking your teeth and becoming undesirable to your boyfriend. What feeling does that evoke in you? Fear? Trepidation? Insecurity? Worry?

Is there anything in your current life that is causing you that same exact feeling? Are you worried about a career path? Expecting to be rejected by your boyfriend? Interested in dating someone but unsure how they feel about you? Whatever is going on in your life right now that is causing you that same emotional turmoil or fear or worry or whatever is what the concepts in the dream represent.

Oh my.... well, it sounds like there is something you desperately need to say to someone, but you feel like you can't say it....

Teeth dreams are very common, and have many meanings associated with this symbol, it depends on what is going on in the dream, and how the different symbols interact with each other, it would help if you could post the complete dream with as much detail as you can remember, in order to get a fuller interpretation.......

I think dreams involving teeth represent money.

If they're snapping in half then it could mean you might lose money or need to make cutbacks.

However, I had a dream that someone asked me to hold their teeth, but I didn't get a surprise windfall so may you shouldn't put too much faith in it.

Teeth

In general, dreams about losing teeth are common and suggest the dreamer feels powerless or out of control in a real life situation.

I think Crazy Diamond is right; teeth breaking represents some sort of insecurity, either in one's appearance or mind, though there can be infinite reasons for the dream.

Dreams are a continuation of your waking thoughts. In your waking life you are experiencing concern of losing something that you think defines you and because of that you fear losing the esteem (love) of those you care about.

Traditionally, in dream interpretation, teeth represent your friends. I think what is more important however is your own interpretation of what they represent and, in particular, how you linked this to your boyfriend not wanting you.
