Who the heck told you that a devil is going to enter your dream?!?!?!

A lucid dream as opposed to a regular dream is where you wake up inside your dream but not enough to wake you up completely. After that you can practice controlling your dream and doing impossible things in it!

it's very fun :)

Lucid dreaming is awareness of the fact that you are dreaming. This awareness can range from very faint recognition of the fact (which is often too brief and nebulous to be considered truly lucid) to something as momentous as a broadening of awareness beyond what has ever been experienced even in waking life. What a dreamer does with lucidity reflects personal tendencies and levels of skill attained usually through experience and practice. Although a lucid dreamer can influence the dream's structure, characters, course, etc., it is not a given that a lucid dream is about what the dreamer wants it to be about. Seasoned lucid dreamers who are more often lucid than not will continue to encounter psychological and developmental challenges in the dreamscape. The agreeable and the distressing, the easy and difficult, beautiful and horrifying, are all occasioned much as they are in regular dreaming. But whereas a regular dream is filled with the convoluted subtleties of the subconscious mind enumerating its issues before a largely unconscious dreamer, a lucid dreamer has the opportunity to consciously explore at any level.

Lucid dreams usually occur while a person is in the middle of a regular dream and suddenly realizes that he or she is dreaming. The person is then said to be "lucid", and may enter one of many levels of lucidity. At the lowest level, the dreamer may be dimly aware that he or she is dreaming, but not think rationally enough to realize that events/people/actions in the dream are not real/pose no threat. At the highest level, the dreamer is fully aware that she or he is asleep, and can have complete control over his or her actions in the dream. However, with low mental control your decisions could be biased not by your opinion, but by your brain. You can control your dreams using the lucid dreaming methods that follow.

Devils can't enter lucid dreams. A normal dream is completely under control of your subconscious mind, and you can't control what's going on, everything just happens. In a lucid dream, you are completely in control. You know that you are dreaming, so therefore, you can change everything and do absolutely whatever you want, and you are more likely to remember your lucid dreams then regular dreams. If you want to learn how to lucid dream, go to eHow. They have a few articles on how to lucid dream. Hope this helps.

A lucid dream is a dream in which you know you are dreaming. Typically this happens when the dreamer experiences something strange, and when they stop to question their reality, they realize they are in a dream. Lucid dreams happen naturally on occasion, although some people may have them naturally more often than others. The definition of lucid dreaming may be simple, but there are a lot of misconceptions surrounding it.

Misconceptions

The definition of lucid dreaming may be simple, but just like many other things which are relatively unknown by the public, there are a lot of misconceptions surrounding it.

A dream isn't lucid unless you control it

There is some confusion about the difference between lucidity and dream control. The two are related, but one can happen without the other. For example, many lucid dreamers experience little or no control in some dreams. On the other hand, it is possible to exercise some dream control without being aware that it is a dream. Typically the dream plot will explain this by making the dreamer believe that they have some sort of god-like power over everything. Dream control, by our definition, can be either conscious or unconscious.

Lucid dreaming is new age

Because almost everyone has lucid dreams naturally every once in a while, we know that lucid dreaming is not limited by any one viewpoint. There are historical records which speak of lucid dreaming going back thousands of years--so it is hardly a new phenomenon. There is no need to have any spiritual beliefs to enjoy lucid dreams.

Lucid dreaming advocates escapism

Lucid dreaming occurs while you are sleeping; it is not meant at all to infringe upon your involvement in the real world. While many lucid dreamers enjoy writing down their dreams, talking about their dreams, and planning fun lucid dreams, this is generally no different from any other hobby. In fact, playing a video game or watching a movie will take you out of the “real world” more than lucid dreaming will.

Lucid dreaming is unnatural, involves "dark arts," or is occult related

Many religious or spiritual sects lump lucid dreaming in with occult practices and activities. Lucid dreams often occur naturally and there is nothing occult about them. On the contrary, many great religious epiphanies and messages came in the form of dreams; sometimes lucid dreams. Our dreams are what we make them; whether we wish to give them spiritual significance or not is up to us.

Dreams contain messages that are lost with lucid dreaming

As of this writing, there are many theories about why dreams exist and what purpose they serve, but so far none of these theories has been proven. One theory is that our dreams contain important or useful messages about our lives. Considering that many people do not even remember their dreams, let alone pay them any attention, changing the dream plot in a fraction of one's dreams is in comparison not nearly as problematic for any message-sending done through dreams. Lucid dreaming also requires very good dream recall, so even if a fraction of these messages are lost in lucid dreams, you are likely remembering many more regular dreams than you ever did before, and on top of that, giving them more attention than ever. Lastly, if we consider that it is our mind that gives us the message through dreams, even if lucid, there is high chances that the message will show regardless.

Levels of Lucidity & Dream Control

Lucid dreaming was defined as becoming aware you are dreaming; the actual level of awareness varies, however. When the level of lucidity is high you are well aware that nothing you experience is real, and you realize that you have nothing to fear—you cannot be harmed by any situations that may seem precarious. With low-level lucidity, although partially aware you are dreaming, you are not aware enough to have a great impact on your dream—you may accept some aspects of your dream that you would not normally accept in the ordinary world (you may not find it at all strange that your dog flies around the living room, etc.) With low-level lucidity your realization may also quickly fade and you may accept the whole dream as reality.

A lucid dream is a completely natural and healthy experience. It is just like any other dream except for the small difference of your knowledge that it is a dream. It has nothing to do with new age, the occult, or escapism, nor can it harm you any more than a regular dream could.

Lucid dreaming happens when you're in a sleep-sort of state. Lucidity is being conscious and aware, if you're aware you;re lucid regardless of the time of day. If you control your day dreams aren't you being focused? Hehe. Maybe I just zone out.

The experience in the Garden parable is similar to life: "devils" are permitted to engage with you at the level of your wrong desiring; the ability to choose is what is being developed.

"Devils" may test at any spacetime, including lucid dreams.

You might enjoy C. S. Lewis' The Great Divorce as an example of what happens in dreams, and Lewis' The Screwtape Letters for insight into "devils."

Absolutely not!!

1.)Your brain is very much a holographic computer and you can program this biological computer to perform certain functions. This is how you master Out Of Body lucid dreaming. An out of body lucid dream is when you feel as though you're actually PHYSICALLY THERE IN YOUR DREAM. Every time you lie down to go to sleep, close your eyes and try to imagine a nice place where you'd really like to be. Try to imagine that you're really there PHYSICALLY. Now while you're imagining all of this, repeat 100 times an affirmation like, "I NOW HAVE A FULLY CONSCIOUS OUT OF BODY LUCID DREAM."

Within one month your dreams will become increasingly more and more lucid. Within seven to twelve months, you'll be a master lucid dreamer......that's what the master lucid dreamers tell us. Its also very important that you never use drugs, marijuana or alcohol during your quest to develop this mental power.

2.) There is a daytime meditation that I think would also help you. Its very important that you understand that you're trying to develop a "mental power." I'm going to teach you about a technique that will make you much more intelligent as well as prepare you for mastering lucid dreaming, so pay very close attention.

1.) Analytical/Logic: is when your left brain uses reason and rationality during your waking life. You can use logic to create some very fantastic lucid dreams.

2.) Perception: is not to be confused with logic. This is the rare mental ability that gives a person this peculiar tendency to see and understand things from "within." If you have mental perception, then you have insight and also, your brain would have a much stronger ability to grasp onto pictures and physical objects. A person who has strong mental perception can very quickly figure things out without the conscious use of logic.

3.) And having a highly disciplined memory is the most perfect kind of memory that a human being could ever have. It would be better for you to have a highly disciplined memory than even a photographic memory.

During your waking hours, go find a comfortable place to sit down. Make sure that no one disturbs you when you are doing this meditational exercise. Close your eyes and clear your mind & try to calm yourself....and take several deep breaths. Visualize in your mind and try to see your "thalamus gland." Visualize your thalamus gland glowing very radiantly and see lasers firing out of it into every area of your brain. See your entire brain glowing very brightly.

Repeat 100x:

"I NOW PROGRAM MY BRAIN TO GIVE ME FLAWLESS ANALYTICAL, PERCEPTUAL, CREATIVE ARTISTIC AND LUCID DREAMING ABILITY. AND A VERY HIGHLY DISCIPLINED MEMORY."

By repeating this affirmation 100x while doing the visualization exercise, you'll slowly and gradually be enhancing your "brain power" and within 12-18 months time, you'll have a much more intelligent brain along with awesome lucid dreaming ability. By repeating the above affirmation you'll improve your daily waking life tremendously when you're not dreaming and at the same time you'll be a master lucid dreamer....do you see?

You must do the above mental exercise at least SIX DAYS every single week. In my case, I prefer to do it SEVEN DAYS.....what the hell! I've been doing this mental exercise now for 6 months and I'm already beginning to notice the effect its having on my mind. I'm noticing and perceiving things that I wouldn't normally notice or perceive. My memory is improving and my dreams are becoming increasingly more and more lucid.

Just think, you'll not only be programming your brain to assist you in lucid dreaming, but you'll also be making yourself more intelligent during your waking life, which means you'll have a better chance of becoming successful in life. Higher paying job or career, etc. THINK ABOUT IT!!!

Most people don't have the patience to learn this sort of thing. Lucid Dreaming can in fact be used as a very powerful mental laboratory. People have learned to expand their intelligence as well as alter their GENES. People who have mastered Lucid Dreaming claim that such things can be accomplished. You can in fact have lucid dreams in which case you feel certain that you're actually physically there. I promise you that it will feel so real to you and that you will have so much control over your dream, that it will frighten you with excitement. You'll wake up the next day feeling very thrilled at what you've accomplished.

3.) If you are lazy and have lots of money, then buy the nova dream goggles as a powerful aid.

I hope that my answer will help.....it should if you use all of it!

P.S. You can use lucid dreaming as a doorway into remote viewing or astral projection.
